  • 8-Week #Moderation365 Nutrition Coaching

    Jess will be leading you through the in-depth #Moderation365 nutrition curriculum, so that you can not only understand the principles but also practice them. Weekly, Jess will be going live in the group with new nutrition lessons, based not only on the #moderation365 mindfulness curriculum, but also speaking specifically about goal-oriented nutrition (fat loss, muscle gain, etc.). We'll be troubleshooting in real time based on how you are doing. Weekly short homework assignments make sure that "knowing" becomes consistently doing. Practice makes progress.

    I've come to realize that the power of transformation relies often on the power of the collective to help us feel safe and courageous with our shares and asks for help. When it comes to doing something different, sharing the vulnerable struggles with nutrition, NOTHING compares to the collective enthusiasm and support of a group of people just like you. There are no new nutrition stories. We are all in this together.

Will I lose weight doing this?

The #Moderation365 coaching program is designed first and foremost to help you stop obsessing about food. Our goal is to automate your eating, make mindfulness a habit, and create a solid foundation upon which we can modify for various goals and objectives.

That being said, once you cease binge eating behavior, often overindulging, many clients find that they lose weight naturally as a result of the practices we implement in the program. HOWEVER, we never start with that goal, because when we begin with “weight loss”, we end up falling back into restrictive and dieting behaviors, becoming obsessed once again.

#Moderation365 is a high level view of eating and body composition results will vary.

When are the live sessions each week?

If you are working privately with Jess, you will prearrange your online meeting time. If you are working with Jess in a group program, live sessions will be Tuesdays each week. We will begin with 7PM PST and change, as needed to fit the majority. If you cannot be on live that week, I will take questions via email or text and answer them during the live session. Our weekly calls will last about an hour.

How much time will the program take each week?

Because #Moderation365 is unlike other nutrition programming, you will not receive a meal plan, food list, nor will you require a lot of time to plan and prepare.

This aspect can be disorienting for many people who are used to chronic and traditional dieting. While the moderation and mindfulness processes are new and will require practice, the amount of mental energy you spend on food is invariably less.

The entire goal of the program is to minimize the mental obsession with food so you actually get a lot of your time and energy back!

The actual time spent on the program will be between 1-2 hours.
